Clement & Wynn was part of a larger Program Management
Team (BOVIS—prime) selected to oversee the completion
of various troubled projects for the Board of Regents.
We were directly responsible for Program Management
Services on three projects including the Parking Deck.
This 586 space parking facility was over budget and
had been delayed in design completion at the time Clement
& Wynn joined the Team. Within six months, we assisted
in the CM Selection and led the Team toward the completion
of a design which was within budget and prepared for
construction mobilization. There was a hard deadline
for completion due to the dire need for parking spaces
and the loss of revenue, if the deck was not operational.
The deadline of September 1997 was met and the project
was under budget.
